Kochwerkstatt at Klagenfurt's Benediktiner Markt literally means 'cooking workshop' in German, but don't expect to see a lot of hammering and slaving away - this is a workshop for excellent cooking. It is no wonder that chef Christian Cabalier is winning over his guests in a heartbeat. And us too! At the heart of the bustling market scene, lunch menus accompanied by wine are served at excellent prices. Dishes are straightforward and top-notch. This is what we tried to achieve with our photos as well. Food shots, portraits of Christian and his team, architectural shots and a brief photo report on the market are meant to mirror the pleasing and extraordinarily laid-back atmosphere that makes Kochwerkstatt so special.
