Alexandre Couillon ist a famous French chef. He runs his own restaurant "La Marine" on Île de Noirmoutier, an island in the French Atlantic. For several years running, the restaurant has received a two-star rating from the Michelin Guide, a feat that's all the more surprising considering its remote location. His cuisine is based on products from the island and the nature around his restaurant. He surprises his guests with his quiet, friendly and humble manner and his mind-blowing signature dishes, which are very often inspired by the history of the island.
