Culinary heights in the Tyrolean mountains.

The guest-chef evening at Relais & Châteaux Hotel Rosengarten on January 25, 2016, was a highly-decorated affair. Simon Taxacher, the winner of four Gault&Millau toques, invited his friend, three-Michelin-starred chef Christian Bau, to Kirchberg to cook a multi-course menu for his guests. In the kitchen, dishes were prepared with maximum concentration and precision. Photography of the dishes also required intense focus and target orientation. When it comes to food photography, setup, the direction of light and settings need to be well thought out in order to achieve the desired result.
