HOTEL AND FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY AT LAKE WEISSENSEE
In June 2020 we went to wonderful lake Weissensee in Carinthia to shoot some exterior and interior shots at hotel Die Forelle and some dishes of chef Hannes Müller. Hannes Müller is a passionate chef who is serving his guests fresh fish from the lake and produce from the region. Here's a quick look behind the scenes of our shooting.

PORTRAITS, INTERIOR SHOTS AND FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY FOR KURO MORI
Michelin-starred chef Steffen Disch opened a new restaurant in Freiburg, where "Schwarzwald meets Asia". Restaurant Kuro Mori is serving regional cuisine with asian influences in a stylish atmosphere. We were hired to shoot some dishes, portraits of the starchef, reportage pictures as well as interior shots of the restaurant. Here are some behind-the-scenes pictures of that great shooting day.

PORTRAITS AND FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY FOR HUBERWIRT
Sandra und Alexander Huber serve their guests michelin-starred cuisine with Bavarian taste and classic finesse. Alexander Huber works with delicious regional produce and creates wonderful signature dishes at his restaurant Huberwirt. We had a great shooting day and are looking forward to our next shooting at this amazing place.

COOKBOOK SHOOTING FOR HELIOS WITH MICHELIN-STARRED CHEFS
Helios is among the largest hospital groups in Europe. Helios wants to level up the quality of the hospital food and asked michelin-starred chefs to design healthy recipes for the hospital. The recipes should also be availble to everyone in a special Helios cookbook. For that special project we shot all dishes of the star chefs at hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin. We also portraited the michelin-starred chefs Juan Amador, Thomas Bühner, Hendrik Otto, Christoph Rüffer, Nils Henkel and Maike Menzel. The cookbook will be published in autumn 2020. Here are some behind-the-scenes pictures of the cookbook production.

FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY FOR MENÜ-MANUFAKTUR HOFMANN
In June 2020 we had a food shooting at Menü-Manufaktur Hofmann in Boxberg. The company is a supplier of tailor-made catering systems with frozen-fresh menus and menu components for modern public catering. They also collaborate with Helios, the largest hospital group in Europe. As we are shooting a cookbook for Helios, we were commissioned to shoot some dishes of the cookbook at Menü-Manufaktur Hofmann. Just have a look at our making-of pictures.

FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE NETHERLANDS
In February 2020 we had a shooting at Kasteel Hemsteede, a wonderful castle and restaurant in Houten in the Netherlands. The fine dining restaurant is run by head chef Ollie Schuiling, a young and skilled chef that comes from international experiences in Michelin-starred restaurants. We shot portraits of the chef and his team, reportage pictures in the kitchen, interior shots and food pictures. If you are a real foodie, you definetly have to visit this restaurants – culinary top performance is guaranteed.

Foodshooting with Michelin-starred chef from London
In February 2020 we had the chance to shoot with Jeremy Chan, the mastermind and headchef of restaurant Ikoyi in London. We had a great shooting day and created a lot of food pictures, portraits of the chef and reportage pictures in the kitchen.

PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY FOR THREE-MICHELIN-STARRED CHEF CHRISTIAN BAU
Black and white portraits remove any distraction of color and help the viewer focus on other aspects of the photo, such as the subject, the composition and significant details in the picture. For this portrait we decided to go for black and white to give more attention to Christian and the statement on his sweater.

FOODSHOOTING IN OBERTAUERN
In January 2020 we shot a lot of dishes and portraits of Stefan Fischer, head chef at gourmet restaurant of hotel Das Seekarhaus in Obertauern. It's always a pleasure for us to work with talented and skilled chefs like him. We had a blast and are looking forward to our next shooting.

PORTRAITSHOOTING WITH TOP SOMMELIER THOMAS SOMMER
As a top sommelier, Thomas Sommer has great taste and taste memory. He understands what goes into the flavor of each wine and can easily describe it in comprehensible words. At our shooting day it turned out that he has another big talent: posing like a professional model. So we got some really great shots within a short time and enjoyed an excellent wine together afterwards.
